HACKING

The surrounding Leicestershire countryside provides Somerby Equestrian Centre with extensive, safe, off-road hacking in a picturesque landscape. Once we are assured of your riding ability you can join one of the hacks that ride out on a daily basis. From 1 hour hacks to 3 hour pub-rides Somerby offers fun hacking for all abilities.

Both our arenas are regularly used for lessons and clinics designed to improve your show jumping technique and confidence. In the summer we have the use of a show jumping paddock as well.

We run regular dressage lessons and clinics either in groups or on a private basis where you can learn how to improve your dressage test. We also organise dressage shows for clients of Somerby Equestrian Centre as well as running prelim and novice dressage shows.

Somerby Equestrian Centre has 2 cross county courses catering for both the novice and the experienced rider. Our main cross country course is built over 22 acres and provides 27 obstacles to tackle over approximately one mile.
