Summer Pony Camps 2005

Activities

A typical pony camp will start with the children getting their ponies in from the field to be groomed and prepared for a day of fun.  Activities during the week will include jumping, handy pony, gymkhana games, cross country and lots of other things to do.

Rosettes will be awarded throughout the week for various activities.  Members of the BHS Pony Club will be working towards their relative 'Progressive tests'. 

Costs

The overall cost of a 5 day pony camp holiday is £250 per child, a deposit of £100 will be required when booking.

The overall cost of a 3 day pony camp holiday is £150 per child, a deposit of £50 will be required when booking.

Accommodation

Children aged 8 to 13 years will stay at Gail's house for the duration of pony camp and will be supervised by a member of staff. Children aged 14 - 16 by arrangement only.

There are tents available for older children wishing to camp or they may bring their own.

Each child will need to bring the following for use during their stay.

To book please complete the booking form and return it to us as soon as possible with the appropriate deposit per child (cheques to be payable to Somerby Equestrian Centre Ltd).
